Smooth dark IPA

Pours a coal black color with a monster head that you could walk on. Tastes of chocolate malts followed by piney and citrus hops and finishes with a touch of alcohol taste. Not overpowering and very well balanced for a 9.2% brew.

Very strong harsh beer. Bitter, dark and hoppy.

Warming and smooth. Maybe a touch more aroma and finishing hops.

Smells of tropical fruit and malts. Coffee and caramel also. Has some Scottish strong ale influence. It's a little fruity and has chocolate.

This was a different tasting IPA. Strong licorice taste when cold which faded as warmed. The hemp gives it a dank flavor, overall very smooth and good. Bottle, August 2013.

Malty and sweet with an IIPA-like finish

Dark mahogany in color with malt and orange blossom aromas. Decent black ipa with a citrus hop forward bit a lingering dank pot like finish. Just ok

Perfect bIpa. Light and hoppy with Carmel smoothness. Not heavy (I am drinking one right now in 101 degree weather and still comfy). Also, an Imperial so 9.2% and not even too boozy
