Brett. Thats what immediately comes to mind with this tart, light-bodied, slightly funky saison. Tastes just like Epics Saison Brett Golden Ale. And I dont like that one either. To be clear the beer does declare itself a brett; it says its aged in wine barrels as well, but mainly a brett-tasting result. The beer is probably well made for what its trying to do, and fans of sours, wild ales, and Brett should take notice. Fans of beer will want to steer clear.
