This brew is wicked awesome. Now hovering around 10%, it packs a little smaller punch than it did in the early days but it is excellent. Big malt forward, smooth bourbon finish. Sets the standard for a bourbon ale!

Black beer with a thin head. No lacing to speak of. Nice balanced flavor for me. Smokey, toasted, richness with a hint of coffee all over powered with malt and alcohol upfront but finishes nicely. I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Very strong bourbon taste. Reminds me of the Irish car bomb drink. Tasty but must slow down and take smaller drinks.
