bockboy@att.net - July 19, 2019A-. Good aroma of citrus and also flavor with some pine. Kinda cross between a east coast and west coast Dipa. Malt is present, but not too strong.
kbuffo - August 23, 2013Absolutely one of the very best IPAs. Bright grapefruit notes with minimal late-pallet bitterness... actually manages to leave off with a restrained malty roundness. Zero booziness. Smooth but light texture... It goes down almost too easy. Certainly at the same level, and just as hard to get, as its famous Heady neighbor, perhaps even better better balanced. Much more tasting required to sort that out!
Borderking - May 13, 2013Perhaps the best, definitely one of the top three IPAs I've ever had! What strikes me is not just the amazing explosion of fresh citrus hop flavors, but also the exquisite balance and roundness to this beer. It's so deliciously hoppy without being overly bitter. It's palatable on all levels, not just for hop-heads. This is the pinnacle of American IPAs!
