Awesome mouthfeel with the unfiltered version with the perfect kick from the simcoe.

Strong piney Simcoe bitterness in this one, wow. Good amount of malt but the hops overpower it. Strong at 9%. Bottle, march 2013.

Great pour nice copper color. Nose was strong but not over powering.

For a guy who just started appreciating ipa's, this one was fantastic. Clean and crisp.

Nice medium body with a surprisingly smooth finish. Not nearly as bitter as I'd expect from an imperial IPA. And like most Weyerbacher beers, much stronger than I'd guess from drinking it.

Lots of bitter hops, medium malty body, citrus / pineapple mango taste throughout. You don't taste the 9%, but you feel it! Really good way to taste simcoe hops isolated.
