Reddish orange hue. Slightly foamy head. Good retention. Smell is not my favorite has that old school beer smell kind of like the smell an empty bottle has alcohol, malt smell.Head has a soft creaminess. First taste has a hop forward bite but not as forward as say a true hop head beverage. Just enough. Grassy piney but still red ale quality. Smooth at the front, hop kick at the back. Think Red Hammer meets hoppy ipa. Decent but glad it was a gift. Wouldn't necessarily reach for again but by no means bad. Just not memorable or exceptional.

Hoppy with a bitter but not overwhelming after-taste

An average Irish red ale that is smooth with a slight bitter finish
