Pours a dark amber with off white head. Aroma is spicy hops. Tastes of apricot and pear with a nice bitterness. Palate is clear, not sticky, with pleasant warmth from alcohol.

Bitter, similar to Victory Hop Devil but less malty. Preferable to the Hop Devil.

I find the alcohol overwhelms the taste of the malts and hops, I think it's overdone

This hoppy bomb will slap you if you're not careful. Subtle sweetness with a little coffee taste. Kind of like a barley wine

Really good beer, had it upstate at room temperature. It was surprisingly smooth and not overly hoppy for such a high ABV pale ale.

Some will find this exceptional. I think it's exceptionally hoppy, reminding me of Pliny the Younger, which is too over the top in bitterness for my delicate taste buds.
