Strong as Hell... sediment floats within, it has a coppery Scottish Ale color, smells like it has been stored at the bottom of a Scottish peat bog for a century, and tastes like smoke and peat and pain. I would drink only if I felt crazed or if it was the only thing around. Let?s be honest, just drink beer or just drink Scotch... or have both, but not in the same drink.

2016 version cellared till 6/22/17 oak aroma is very strong slight off white head smokey smokey very strong. Rich Amber color

A to A+. Love the smoked peat and bandaid aroma and flavor. Has a fair amount of hop bitterness. Very complex beer. Held up well for one year. Had a 2016 in April 2020 and it was fantastic no peat, alcohol or smoke loss, but sherry now noticeable. A+
