Anyone who does not like this just is not suited for the style. It is not the beer, which is unassailable. As a thick, rich, imperial stout this is the bees knees. Important to know that it is more dark chocolate than milk chocolate. Not very sweet or rather bitter sweet. 70 IBUs, btw. Smooth and velvety. You can easily drop a bomber in one sitting. But you really should not! Too rich and boozy. Save some for later.

Warming. Smooth. Slight roast. Malty. Excellent

Bold flavor, but smooth. Little carbonation, dark as nite, light burnt undertones compared other imperial stouts. Syrupy texture and high ABV 10.5. Would buy again, again, and again

Not carbonated, very smooth. Big bodied, very syrupy. Espresso, licorice, slight burnt notes. Hoppy and earthy. Flavor lasts long. 4.25

Pitch black. Can't see through it when held up to light. At all. Like crude oil. Minuscule head that dissipates quickly. Low carbonation... Smells like deep roasted chocolate, sweet caramel, a bit of booze. Nice creamy sweet mouthfeel, chocolate and toffee up front, nice mocha finish with a touch of dark molasses. As a big fan of Hoppin' Frog, I will be making a pilgrimage to the brewery soon for more DORIS

Nice stout, overpriced?

Unable to get in Michigan at this time.
If you happen to be in Akron Ohio where it's brewed,
I recommend checking this one out.

I was convinced to buy this from the guy Who runs a small but awesome liquor store in Oxford, OH. Big alcohol andit has a nice clean finish! Not as thick as expected. Much better thanB.O.R.I.S. it has a sweet cherry note but it isn't over powering! Very Very Clean and 10.5 ain't bad either!!!

I like a stout based on a high gravity and as much flavor as I can pack in. This is both of those and is the best stout I have ever had.
