tylerjones62 - December 21, 2012Plums, dark fruits, prunes? Tobacco; great toasty malts. Touch of sweetness. Not very boozy for such a big beer. Very drinkable. Definitely tell it was aged in an oak barrel. Leaves very little lacing on the glass, surprising. Dry finish.

spylab - November 17, 2012Love a good stout... Wonderful aroma, good lacing, way too boozy though. 3 stars.

Jake G. - November 12, 2012Had high hopes for this but wasn't very good at all. Cool bottle to keep though

TrevorT - March 28, 2012Ok but not my favorite. Color is black with a tan head. Aroma is a roasted, cocoa, with a hint of a bourbon butteriness. The taste is a strong roasted cereal, an oaky bourbon alcohol zing, and some finishing earth notes. Taste quite lasting. 2 of 5 stars.

N Dawg - February 29, 2012Roasty flavor and aroma, smooth finish with an oaky, bourbon flavor. Not super heavy,

gudmunk - February 26, 2012Aggressive malty, chocolate smell. Very dark color and nice head. Roasted malt taste, earthy with a hint of Chocolate. Agressive taste that lingers (not smooth or creamy) and you can def taste the high alcohol volume.

gudmunk - February 26, 2012Strong malty, oaky, chocolate smell. Very dark color and nice head. Malty, slightly oaky. Earthy taste. Aggressive taste (not smooth or creamy) where you can taste the alcohol. Slightly bitter.

vikrambagri - February 11, 2012Way to dark and strong. It has a dark coffee woodish flavor with a strong after taste. Not as smooth as a Guinness.
