My first IPL. It does taste different than an IPA. It is definitely not as bitter as an IPA and It has more of a mellow taste to it as well. Not as full as an IPA but very smooth all the way through. I really like this especially if it was a hot summer day.

Of one of only two IPL's I've had, I think I'm really enjoying, though not certain it is an IPL trait in general, the mellowness of the brew. You get the hops flavor but not an overwhelming bitterness you would get from an IPA. Ideal setting to drink: on top of a mountain after an exhausting hike. Exhausted and parched, this beer would be both quenching and rejuvenating. It might make the hike down more of a stumble down however.

Limited availability. Brewed once. Very delicious. Somewhat hoppy but smooth.

Great hop flavor. Clean & crisp.

Clear golden in color with one finger of white quickly dissipating head and dank resiny aromas. Smooth and light to medium in body this is the best IPL I've had yet. Has a resiny dank hop flavor balanced out by malt and a very dry finish. Would definitely have again. I've had IPLs before and this is also the first imperial I've had

Strong piney hops, grassy. Not bad but not as good as most IPAs. A little funny on the aftertaste. Bottle, August 2014.

More full bodied than hoppy. I like this one tastes very good
