bugs318 - November 21, 2013Pours a cloudy brownish-red with a rocky, foamy off-white head of solid retention and curtain-clingy lace. Nose is quite grape musty and vinous, with some bold piney hops and some darker fruit. Slight hints of booze and wood. Taste starts with some grape must and sweet fruit, but dries up quickly with substantial piney and floral hops, some woody/earthy notes, and a fairly bold lingering warmth. Body is fairly full with slight carbonation. Pretty hot, though!
