Didn't love it

Much hoppier tasting than the 36 IBU rating would indicate. Not a fan of extra hoppy beers, but the hop bitterness is offset nicely by the citrus (especially the grapefruit) notes.

Good body of flavor. Pleasant wheat taste. Nice for german food.

Served from bottle, little head, poor retention, medium red brown color. Not much hop on the nose, slight fruitiness. Light body, medium bitterness, with slightly smoky malt notes.

roast flavor, tree bark-esque finish, good hoppy ness offsets the maltyness, good drink and has an earthy spring character so labeled well

Lots of citrus notes pick up in the smell and carry over to the palate. Mild bitterness for an ale. Light and zesty overall.
