I don't think I've ever had a Saranac beer that I liked, but this is one of their better ones. Still tastes like an over hopped glass of pine tree juice.

Pours a dark blonde in color, very clear with a frothy head and pine hop & malty bready rich aromas. A style that is a hybrid in nature this is the first one of this style I have ever had and it's very tasty. Sweet malt and buttery mouthfeel like a lager initially hits your tongue followed by strong drying piney hoppiness, finishing with a clean, creamy bite. Very good and I think my favorite of the new beers in the saranac winter variety pack

Pretty smooth. Never had decoction style beer before but it's not bad
