aaf145 - July 26, 2014Nice doppelbock ... Stronger than most, sweet and malty with an alcohol burn.. A sipper beer, yet another gem from Alesmith.. 4 stars, Alesmith continues to impress me
specksofdust - January 23, 2014Was expecting the worst, as the bocks and I don't mesh well. However, it's not very bocky - seems to be lacking in dark fruits that define that style (to me) - which may be its redeeming quality. I finished it, but it was tough!
dkrenik - October 27, 2013Clear, dark brown with ivory head. Roasted malt aromas supported with chocolate. Medium full bodied with light carbonation. Big malt with some toasty, coffee character. Good stuff.
