Fairly decent attempt at a Marzen. Bit on the lighter malt side and with a lingering aftertaste that my mass market and Mass. brother standard bearer Sam Adams does not have so it looses points on the smoothness scale. So I would drink it if Sam?s was not offered.

Best out of a red cup. Refreshing but keeps its bubbles and maltiness a few innings.

Light for a Marzen, but still malty. Very crisp, hint of hops on the finish

Crisp, malty, funky copper lager, yum! I feel it's a step up from the Sam Adams oktoberfest.

Overall a little disappointing for a Märzen. A little too heavy in the finish. Slightly too much sweetness and bitterness in the aftertaste, not as crisp as id like. A little bit of booziness which was surprising given that the ABV isn't that high. Gets worse as you work your way down the glass.

Strong Amber/ copper flavor with full body. Heavy to drink, but flavorful and enjoyable with a little kick of hops.

A great tasting near red. A little hoppier than the Red Tape. Got a full rating.

Not crazy about this one.. Not that sweet malty, caramel backbone that most marzens have.. Slight bite, minimal sweetness..2.5 stars
