B+. Very malty with banana, clove and other Belgian/Hefeweizen type aromas and flavors.

Substituting we tomorrow with spelt malt or dinkel, Deschutes teams up with Distelhäuser for something different. The result is a sweet tasting Amber beer that seems more Belgian in its roots than Bavarian. It is smooth and quite delicious but if you are looking for a Doppelbock, then this isn't it. This brew continues my luck with Deschutes as enjoying every beer I have opened from this Bend, Oregon brewery. Yummy stuff! Thank you Paul Schaver for picking this up right from the tap room itself!
