An interesting drink. One does catch the mild scent of toasted coconut once this has been poured, and the head does form up very nicely. However, it dissipates quite quickly, leaving you with a glass of beer with no discernible head. Based on that and the color, one might easily mistake it for a glass of Coca-Cola. The taste is very malty, and it is only towards the very end of the dry finish that one tastes a very subtle hint of coconut. As I said, it is interesting, but not quite what I was expecting or hoping for.

A great porter that's light on smoke flavors. Very sweet, almost too sweet r a porter, then the small smoke notes come at the end. A great porter to start the night off right.

Tasty porter, dry maltiness with supporting sweetness. Drank while I had a cold, but couldn't really pick out the coconut. Still a tasty beer.
