Very dark, very good. Would rate higher, probably a four star but price is to high. A little more bitter than I like...

A very dark beer. Almost looks like old motor oil. Very good and smooth porter. Chocolate flavor all the way through with a chocolate and coffee finish. Great beer and definitely worth a try. profile - May 8, 2015

Been wanting to try this beer for a very long time but was very disappointed in the taste. I've had their Tokyo beer and its waaaaayyy better than this. I'm thinking get a 3.75 stars for me, far lower than expected.

Dark black almost syrupy beer. Lots of cocoa with a slight alcohol burn. Beer is alright but paying $13.50 for a 12oz...not worth it.

Pours jet black. Sweet vanilla smell, tastes like coffee. Nice nightcapper!

Pours black. Thinning head. Nose of oak and dark coffee. Taste is heavy on coffee with some dark chocolate, vanilla and oak. Decent mouthfeel. Expected it to be heavier. Honestly have had better
