A refreshing English pale ale. Crisp and golden with hoppy overtones. Very Moreish. The best draft pint I've had is at The Bell and Bottle on the A583 Preston to Kirkham road. The supermarket bottled version is bland and fizzy compared to a well kept draft.

Robust golden pale ale & nicely hoppy

Golden color, bit cloudy (2 out of 5). Beery smell (none of the floral notes of American ales). Pleasant bitterness--not the burst of an IPA but more bitter than some other ales I've been drinking (bit of a pop at beginning, kind of holds and thins).
