TheChuckHart - March 30, 2014This BIPA has the nose of a classic IPA. It pours a dark motor oil color with very little head. It drinks like a porter with roasted chocolate and coffee maltiness dominating. A piney bitterness plays in the background and then steps forward strongly on the finish. The mouthfeel is slightly creamy, almost like a porter. Does your wife prefer porters while you like IPAs? This beer would make both of you happy.
