The label says India style pils lager but it tastes like an IPA to me and a good one. Would buy this one again!

Golden lager with nice creamy heady foam. Citra hops smell exactly how you would think, ultra hoppy smell with a hint of tangerine vibes. Probably the best smelling beer I've tried. Sharp bitterness in the finish reminiscent an India Pale Ale. Flavor is masked by the bitterness.

Ahhh, Citra. This beer IS good karma. I'll take any beer with Citra, but this is a special experience. It's got the initial grand Citra-hop explosion of a Citra IPA at first taste, but the lager back end is very unique. Smooth and rich without feeling heavy. Like a great pils this is a fantastic beer to drink on a hot day, and the extra Citra finish is really like a light grapefruit cocktail on a summer afternoon. I LOVE this beer. I enjoyed while in Vermont. I hope I can find it in Virginia! Thanks OCB.
