My first ol' Republican beer suggested by Jeremy at Total Wine and More. Hey, it was aged in tequila barrels. So different- so cool! It pours rich and thick and the head holds long. The smell is a full aroma of delight. The beer tastes like most stouts but with a slight kick. The tequila isn't strong or overwhelming. It's just perfect, really. Warm it up in your hand and this oatmeal stout really comes alive. It's an enjoyable beer.
