Kind of a chocolatey soy sauce tinge.

Generic chocolate stout. Nothing to stand out against the rest.

The chili paired nicely with my guacamole. Seems a bit more mellow than some of the other stouts. The alcohol is more well hidden and there is less edge than with Vampire Slayer and Blaecorn Unidragon. It may be due to the cinnamon and chili hiding the booze. It really does taste Mexican, speaking in synesthesia. Enjoyed it and would drink again gladly. EDIT: Enjoyed after one year aging. It smoothed out quite nicely. The chili subdued, and the spices and roasty malts now compliment the brew, rather than dominate it. Slightly better now, easier to drink, but not without sacrificing its unique character.

Light chocolate stout.

Really wanted to like this one but just didn't. The chili pepper was just too much of a taste wrecker.

Very rich and chocolatey.

Slight carb, yet smooth. Mid body, oily. Chocolate & coffee upfront, and at end. Some hops adds flavor upfront. Roasted to burnt malt finishes, and lasts. Lasting flavor that balances ABV. 3.8... solid but could be thicker

Pours clean with a dark head that lingers. Mild stout with subtle heat from the chili's inside. Chocolate start with a light boozy finish. Overall a tasty brew.
