Disappointing for a near $50 case. Was considering taking back the case after 1 beer which has happened to me exactly once before. You taste all 6.5% alcohol up front with a chocolate that is much too bitter and only enhances the wrong notes. I'm very local and enjoyed a lot of good river horse beers, especially their winter ale in the early 2000s and their chocolate porter was a letdown sorry to say
