This is a good dark Belgian ale but only hints of chocolate. From the name I was hoping for more chocolate notes. Not sure it is worth the hefty price

A lot more of the porter character then I was expecting from the description. Almost no chocolate taste. Descent beer not sure the name conveys it's character properly.

Carbonated, modestly smooth. mid body. Nice flavor. Chocolate notes, roasted malt, slight sweetness, a bit of hops. No alc taste. Could be thicker, sweeter. 3.8

Most bitter chocolate beer I've had. Smells sweet, but has a nice dry, bitter taste. Great beer.

Its a good beer. It gets to be a little much for me. A little too heavy and chocolaty after a bit. I split a 750 ml bottle and I'm glad I did. Would have been too much all at once
