TheClosetBrewer - January 15, 2013Bit of a stretch to call it Christmas ale. I taste absolutely no anise, cinnamon, nutmeg or ginger. The malt is even masked by the profound hoppiness. As a well hopped dark ale, kudos, but as beer is an art , I'm not getting the message on this one.
