The initial smell of this stout made me think it had potential. The nose was full of dark chocolate and roasted coffee, and the pour was beautiful. It looked very rich and inviting. However, I found the flavors to be quite muted, with the exception of the cherry. THAT came out more as the beer warmed up, but it had a medicinal taste...more like a cough syrup. Sadly, I only found this to be an average stout. I was hoping for more.

Great flavor, full beer, just the way I like it thick and dark (phrasing), a strong beer all around

Tart cherry finish. Nice brown. Good for occasional drink

Really light on the cherry - smooth for this kinda beer!

A good tasting stout, but I expected a lot more flavor. It does not separate from their usual double stout. The cherry taste is minimal.
