Fantastic! My personal favorite ancient ale.

Nose is deceiving compared to the bold but eclectic mouthfeel of honey, exotic fruit and fermented grape. Overall a very enjoyable notch above your typical session beer.

Rich rusty golden color with a cream white head, great carbonation. Aroma of honey and white grape, like the description, similar to mead. Taste matches nose, heavy hits of orange blossom honey with raisiny white grape undertone. Dry finish. Like Midas with a twist. A great fruit/spice ale with a cool story, conservative beer drinkers beware!

Another spiced Dogfish Head brew. Watch out! Alcohol in this one is 10%! Fortunately, this one's definitely a sipping beer (ale?). After a swallow, breathe out through your nose for a more spicy experience. Take your time with this one. It's definitely worth it.

Too sweet. Not my favorite of the ancient series.
