One of the brand new beers in the 2014 12 beers of winter. Brown ale brewed with chai spices Deep clear chestnut brown in color with a couple fingers of off white head. Dissipates quickly leaving lacing down the glass. Sweet malty aromas. A very tasty medium bodied brown ale this one has a spicy twist from the chai intermingled with cocoa, nutty flavors, and a very subtle vanilla note. Has a crisp clean finish that tastes a lot like tea. Very good and enjoyable one of the better new beers from saranac.

Really original tasting brown ale.. Heavy chai and cinnamon flavor mixed with roasted malt.. Not something you want to drink all day, cuz the flavor is quite potent but a change of pace and something different for the winter season..3 stars

Similar taste to the Saranac pumpkin ale. Not as good- Not overly impressed.
