Call it a novelty beer but because its part of Central Waters Brewers Reserve series you know it will be good. Tastes as advertised. Makes you feel like youre in a Wisconsin supper club with a fish fry or prime rib coming right up. The base of this beer is an imperial red ale. Its aged in brandy, bourbon, orange curaçao barrels. Throw in cherries and bitters and voila! Old fashion! A little strange at first, but actually pretty darn good if you like strong ale. I first had it on tap some years ago at Honeypie (?). First time I have seen it in bottles. Got at Downer Liquor. 2020 version: 12% abv.
