Don't bother with the bottled import. You'll pay a premium price for a WalMart experience. On tap in Czech and Germany, on the other hand... In my opinion this is the beer by which all Pilsners should be judged. It makes one understand why Busch stole the name for that crappy rice swill from St. Louis.

Bottled is ok but not special. On tap in the Czech Republic, Bavaria or Hessen (Germany) is the way to go. Try the Budweis pub adjacent to the Eschersheimer Tor in Frankfurt. It's the best bierstube in Hessen!

Un-impressive, Pilsner Urquel has better body and flavor. Only had this in the Czech Republic, but I suspect the US version is no better

Nice pilsner. The name is odd to Americans but this tastes like a nice drinkable pilsner, not the garbage we get in the US.
