Dark, dry, strong and slightly bitter. Yummy.

Did not particularly care for in bottle

Dark, like I enjoy my women.

Oak, smoke, and very dark chocolate aromas. Dark fruits an dominating cocoa with slightly boozy smooth finish. Lingering bitter chocolate after notes. Best I have had from Brooklyn.

Tastes like liquid unsweetened cocoa. Not too bitter like some stouts. Little of that distilled/syrupy flavor. Pretty smooth, medium-low bitter. Choco mostly in smell. Get too bitter pretty quick. Would like w/ milkyness. Drinkability 1-2.

This is a benchmark to compare other imperial chocolate stouts against. It is awesome. Had this at the 2013 Jolly Skull Beer Fest.

Smells like a mix of coffee and chocolate. Tastes the way it smells. Starts off smooth at the lips then goes down a little rougher.

Good chocolate with a touch of sour note on the side. Complex malts with a nice finish. Good dark color with a touch of amber

This good beer could be better if the alcohol rating wasn't pushed so high. With that said it has a great mouth feel and a smooth color, just not quite the flavor profile of a great stout.
