When trying an IPA for the first time I'm judging it by asking myself whether it's better or not as good as Bridgeport. I don't know of a better recommendation than that.

Great drinkable IPA. Strong floral notes but subtle palate and smooth finish. Hop flavor is very muted. Smooth enough that beginner IPA drinkers will like it and complex enough that IPA fans can appreciate its complexity.
