My bottle had abc of 9, tasty smooth beer with slight lingering hoppy taste. Another fine beer from lakefront !

Amber Ale.
Pours a deep, fiery amber with a rocky off-white head. Aroma is dominated by dry, earthy American hops: citrus, floral and pine tree notes. Hops dominate, lending a hefty bitterness, but are backed up by the caramel malts, which lend a substantial body without any extra sweetness.
Heavy, moderately bitter compared to a cream ale. More flavor than a cream ale but a different kind of flavor than a cream ale.
Probably could not drink too many of these right after another. Like.

Nice dark amber ale with hoppy aromas and a nice blend of toasted chocolate/coffee and hops on the palate with a good hop kick at the end. Almost like eating a lightly charred dark bitter chocolate. Very nicely integrated flavours.

Deep amber/red body just a shade shy of brown, topped by a frothy ever-so-faintly off-white head of good retention and thin, but substantial clingy lace. Nice hop-predominant nose expressed mostly with strong notes of pine and slight herbal remnants. Taste is toasty malty but quickly dried by a spicy hops finish coupled with a full body and sticky feeling. A solid beer.

Too hoppy for me, but for those who like hops this is an excellent malty beer.
