jaywill1323 - February 27, 2014Clear copper red in color with white one finger of head that dissipates into layers of lacing. Aromas of malty bread and subtle boozy notes. My first Swedish ancient/strong ale and as the brooklyn rep said, the first he's had in the states too.
2/26/14: just came out a couple weeks ago and it's surprisingly & dangerously sessionable for an 8% abv beer. Interesting blend and layers of flavors, starts out malty but the 'old ale' refinement starts to shine through in the middle before changing to a sharp anise back end. An interesting and unique beer would get one again. A good cigar beer.
