Sweet, caramel malt

I'm not sure what to think of this one. It has an upfront taste that I've never noticed in another beer. Ngoc likes it.

A bit more bitter than I expected. But nothing off putting. Enjoyed, but would I choose again? Maybe/maybe not.
TransPhattyAcid - February 7, 2013
Dark brown copper color. Cloudy. Mild aroma. Malts and Carmel. Taste is sweet, mild bitterness. Very pronounced raisin flavor. It not bad but not great. Out of the bottle flavor is a little flat. Not much head and low carbonation.

Nice complex flavor

Malty and smooth

Nice malt profile accented by citrus hops.

A - deep red/brown with a nice two finger head. Head disappeared quickly.
S - I got a tonne of American citrusy hops in the nose for a brown. Malt started to come out more as it warmed, giving some bready and dark fruit notes.
T - again not a standard brown with a good dose of citrusy hops shining through. Nutty, sweet Malts do balance it well though with a little bit of toastiness
M - medium body, medium carbed
A - very faint hop bitterness lingers
O - an above average tasting beer, not great and doesn't really fit nicely into the Brown category. But highly drinkable and enjoyable
