A - roast, chocolate, sour cherries? A - dark brown almost black. Finger head poured from bottle quickly fizzes out. Fizzy legs T - sour eventually conquers all other flavors on my pallet. Initially detected some bourbon and ... Fuck it's all sour now for me B - beer definitely has a lot of carbonation which I think disguises a med - full body beer. O - I was really curious about the beer and it turned out to be a very curious beer. I'd be interested to try this beer at different ages bc I would like more balance between the sour, bourbon, and porter characteristics

Smells terrible, like aged compost, or Kombucca. Very dark. Initial taste is right in your face, but surprisingly smooth finish... Don't really think I would get it again. Anybody know the probiotic count in this one? I couldn't finish it as it was putrid!

On tap at the Davis Beer Shoppe. Not as good as Tart of Darkness.
