Pours very dark brown, very foamy head--easy to overflow the glass. Little to no lacing. A mild stout...that is, not very "stout." Lighter body and mouthfeel that many American stouts. Mild chocolate tones with a balanced malt flavor. Neither sweet nor dry. Alcohol flavor is well hidden. Bourbon flavor is slight--could have stayed on the barrel longer. (Beer produced in Sept. 2014)

Awful. Tasted sour and over carbonated. Poured out. Will not be drinking this one again.

Very smoky and heavy tasting. Kind of light mouthfeel, which is odd given the flavor.
