It is a pleasant sipping beer but I expected more. It is on the thin side with highly-acidy coffee taste. I am missing the body and the bourbon.
Update: it gets much better as it warms to room temperature.

Good taste. Not a strong after taste a extremely smooth.

Disappointing. Lacks any bold flavor usually associated with a barrel aged beer.

Average brew, coffee flavor, much better options in this category

Love this beer. Fabulous notes of coffee and oak bourbon. Would make a great breakfast beer, but I drank it with pizza and loved it.

Dark espresso appearance with thin khaki head. Smoky, coffee, Bourbon, molasses and oak notes. Full-bodied and full-flavored.

Good. I set myself up wanting it to taste like Bourbon County Stout. I like the beers they put out and im looking to try more. Not enough bourbon flavor

A true sipping beer. Smokey flavor with a bit of a nose.

Notes of coffee and chocolate. With a milky texture. Nice finish with a bourbon overnote. As a note. It is only aged in bourbon barrels. This tonality is carried through in the finish. You have to pay attention and use your nose. The complexity of the finish almost gives it a rosy aroma as the bourbon shines through.
