Pours dark black and thick. Nose is mostly butterscotch and vanilla. Coffee and vanilla sweet taste, then the bourbon kicks in. Not as thick of mouthfeel as expected. Bourbon-y finish. My bottle notes 6.9% not the stated 5.7%. Got better as it warmed

Mild stout flavor, heavy but smooth. Vanilla, coffee flavors.

Strong sort of coffee, vanilla flavor with light hops. It reminds me of Jack Daniels without the potent alcohol flavor. It's definitely unique and interesting, but the jack daniels reminiscence is off-putting for me.

I gave this 4 stars instead of 4.5 or 5 because it is missing something. It is smooth and has good bourbon flavor but lacks some complexity to make it great
