Fonar - August 31, 2019Brewed with Kolsch yeast and fermented with Hallertauer Hops. The label says it?s a Louisiana Exclusive. I bought a 6 pack at a Rouses Market in New Orleans, LA. Brewed with white wheat, oats, and barley.
It?s a pretty basic kolsch, but with a bit more body and bready maltiness than is typical of the style. There was nothing to remarkable, but it still hit the spot on a hot Aug night in ?Nawlins. It poured golden in color with a fluffy white head, aroma of dry bready grain. It finishes on the drier side and you get a grassy hop complexion.Not bad but fairly unremarkable.
LeRay - October 14, 2016First one ever. I added this beer. Nice hazy gold appearance. Nice hoppy nose. Good body and flavor. A great year round beer that I really enjoyed and recommend. Another solid offering from Abita.
