Good

Let me say upfront, I pretty much don't like anything from Magic Hat. This is probably among the better that comes off their lines. Good complex mix of refreshing spicy upfront ... but, then what? Nothing. It just falls flat like all of their brews. Oh well.

Would love to know what is in this. Quite refreshing and tart but not overly hopped. Lemongrass?

Nice flavor and bitterness

Good ipa

Not overwhelming hoppy. Grapefruit notes subtle but detectable. Drinkable IPA for a non-IPA lover

Herbal spices and fuller malts make this interesting. However, it lacks any recognizable hop profile. Good enough to drink, but not good enough to seek out.

The herbal spiciness and the just a tad grainy taste makes this something different and interesting. Where it does not stack up is with the hop profile, or lack thereof. All it needed was a kick and it would have been pretty good. Easy to drink, better than many, not worth going out of your way to get.

Blah. Bland ass ipa

I normally HATE IPA's - syndrome of the oafish American Microbrew hops craze. Just pure bitterness, no nuance. But this IPA is the one exception - actually drinkable! A nice grapefruit nose and taste to it. Someone finally did it right!
