katiehal - October 19, 2012Drink this at room temperature! Lots of flavor, coffee tones, delicious darkness. Chilled it can be bitter, had at room temp it's just right.
witchal - July 19, 2012Pours near black with a thick, dark head. Mild malt aroma with a heavy hop thump. Huge taste of dark malts and hops. Surprisingly, there's little evidence of the 12.5 ABV but for what it did to my head. Very heavy = Very good! I'll need to clear a shelf in the cellar for more.
TrevorT - October 24, 2011This is o e of the most formidable beers I have come across. Pour is black and smooth; head is big and dark wood brown. Aroma is surprisingly light and a bit hoppy. First and lasting tastes of vary dark malts. Beer wins; 3 of 5 stars.
