Pours a very deep, gorgeous brown with very little head. On the nose, there's a burst of coffee, chocolate and roasted malt finished off by a slight bourbon hint. Taste gives a slight burn at first, but quickly transitions into a smooth flavor that mimics the nose. I definitely get more vanilla and bourbon at the end, finishes with a very pleasing aftertaste. Mouthfeel is oily and thick, but just enough to coat the tongue with flavor. Excellent beer, after trying one, I went out and bought a 2010 and 2011!

No real nose to speak of. Taste is almost as dark and deep as Old Viscosity but then finishes really sort of bland and boring. Old and Older both are really deep noses and strong finishes. Sort of clean but not deep like I was expecting.
