The history of Scotland! Bagpipes. Sheep's stomach. Curly beards. War paint. An age passes and the refined time of David Hume and Adam Smith comes. Future anthropologists will try and fail to unite these epochs into one tale. They should have just tried this beer.

Delicious mix of RIS and the peaty scotch.

Very intriguing imperial stout. Allegedly mixed with a triple IPA, the hops are subtle present under strong peat and coffee notes. Smokiness becomes subdued as it warms. While the peat reminds one of an Islay scotch, you don't get the other flavors associated with a barrel aged beer. Had at PP 6/1/13.
