Sweet, which I love, with a bit of a roast bitterness aftertaste. It's 4/5 as is but is dangerously close to 4.5/5 and with less burnt flavor would hit 4.5 for sure.

A nearly perfect Imperial Stout. Very little head and a fluid pouring. Nothing too strong in the smell. Carbonation begins to open once it's in the mouth. And that's when things get special.Great balance of sweetness, then coffee, bitterness and chocolate and other expected stout things. Ends dry and satisfying.

Thick, creamy, very strong!! A sipping beer if there ever was one. Cocoa on the nose, quite sweet, a little cloying. Next to a roaring fire on a cold night, this would be superb.

No carbonation, very smooth. Mid-big bodied. Hoppy, slight vanilla, burnt flavor that balances high ABV. Slight sweetness. Flavor lasts. 3.75. Could be thicker

Deep, rich, chocolatey, finishes with a roasted bitterness.

Not overwhelming like some RISs. A "Summer" Russian Imperial Stout. Could drink 2 or 3 in a row. Molasses and black licorice. Slightly peppery aftertaste.
