Good beer but lacks a presents. Midnight brown with a heavy lace, vanilla head. The aroma (though lost in a pint glass) is light caramel with a dark berry of sorts. The first impression is dark chocolate and raspberry with a light hops bitters. It finished bitter with a bit of a tart zing and alcohol heat. Want more malt to finish. 3 of 5 stars.

Wanted like it, as the imperial stouts are frequently my favorites. It just lacked a flavor punch I would have preferred. Still not bad at all, just not up my alley.
