Slightly bitter and metallic tasting. Was disappointed the maple tones were not stronger. Not a bad beer but far from being a great one. Overall, I have just been a little let down my Anchor Brewing.

Nice, slightly bitter. A minute or so after each sip I get the maple. I like this, I can drink one, maybe two, but won't go out of my way to purchase again unless its on tap somewhere. I'd be interested in trying that once.

Surprisingly good red autumn ale. Clear amber, with some spiciness and bitterness but neither was too much. Enjoyed it. Bottle, Sept 2013.

Not bad, flavorful red ale. Malty, a bit sweet. Don't taste the maple.

Heavy but decent. Not much of a maple taste, which is vaguely present as an aftertaste.

Pours copper tone, hoppy, hint of maple, full body. Great beer for the fall season.

Hoppy, copper metal, high carbonation, and some fall seasonal notes. All of these things, individually, are not good at all in this brew. However, in combination, they somehow work. It didn't turn me off, but its not something I would seek out again.
