An exceptional American dark stout, brewed here in the Golden State... California. Full rich flavor body, with a smokey roasted coffee and mocha notes. Perfect balance of bitterness and sublimed malty texture in the palate. Refreshingly delicious, esp In a hot day like today. It's 8.1% ABV of goodness straight out of this 1 pint cold bottle. Cheers, from sunny Southern California USA! 9/4/13

Typical Russian stout. Toasty, malty with just a hint of bitterness. Pretty good

Not as big of a beer as I first thought it would be. Good flavor with ok malt and good chocolate . Not the end all be all beer that some have suggested but a very good beer I would recommend

At BR brewery. Had the barrel-aged. Hints of coffee and licorice on the nose. Smooth. Taste of coffee and hops. Pretty good Stout.

Beautiful notes of chocolate and bourbon. It's sweet and perfect for a dessert session.

Light body. Smooth but kinda watery. Roasted malt upfront with burnt finish. Not sweet or thick enough. 3.5

Bit of a coffee and caramel flavor but not overwhelmingly so. Definitely will get again. Very enjoyable.
